Every once in a while I come across a tool which is worthy of passing along. I was recently needing to free up some space on my drive and went looking for tool which would help me discover the space hogs. I came across WinDirStat. It's a small, simple tool that shows you the files taking up space on your drive in a graphical and a tree format. You can easily spot the big ones on the graphical output, get details on what they are, and even delete them from WinDirStat. Super handy. You can also find a nice portable version here: http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/windirstat_portable.
